About West Core Drilling
The Directors of West Core Drilling have significant experience in the exploration and mining industry of Western Australia, both from an exploration management and contract drilling perspective. They formed West Core Drilling in early 2007 upon recognising the significant shortfall in quality diamond drilling capacity in WA that was resulting in delays to priority exploration projects during the latter half of 2006.
Scott Eaton (General Manager) has been working in the contract drilling industry in Western Australia, South Australia, West Africa and Mongolia for 15 years. His experience is broad-based, with exposure to reverse circulation, aircore and blast hole drilling. The majority of his experience has however been gained in diamond drilling.
Scott is supported by his wife, Sarah, a geologist with 23 years experience in the exploration industry and over ten years in senior exploration management positions. Sarah is able to bring a clients' perspective to West Core's business.
Scott was able to attract experienced drillers who had worked with him previously. They form the core of West Core's dedicated drilling team.
